Affiliation:
Established by the Hebrew University, the
Faculty of Social Sciences. The SSDA now serves as a central data
archive for all Israeli universities.

Data collections:
The ISDC now houses approximately 1200
datasets including national sample survey data, local studies, census
micro-data and government records in selected fields as well as
macro-economic series. Several macro databanks are available on the
Web. Sources of data include
- the Central Bureau of Statistics,
- central and local government
agencies,
- research institutes as well as
- independent researchers from the
affiliated academic institutes.
Since 1995, the ISDC serves also as an
authorized distributor of micro-data from Israel Central Bureau of
Statistics. Major source of foreign data is the ICPSR Archive in
Michigan, where the ISDC serves as the Official Representative of the
Israeli membership. |
